The Curtain.
The Space Between Heaven And Earth Is Closer Than You Know.
Somewhere between heaven and earth, there is a curtain. Not a physical one, but something more like a veil made of vapors and mist. It’s the place where God reaches out to touch us, and we reach out with all our might to receive whatever magnificent gifts he has to give.
In between that veil and the earth is a path, like a tunnel that connects them together. I stood there today, not in my physical body, but in my spiritual one. I stood waiting to hear, or see, what beautiful words or stunning images God wanted to share with me. And the light from the veil covered me.
It filled me like the warmth of the sun after a long, cold winter. Little purple and white violets sprang up all around me. Their perfume dazzled my senses and went deep into my soul. Each breath drew me closer and closer to perfect peace.
A burst of children’s giggling and laughter came out of the veil like a rushing river. It was infectious laughter, and the joy from it hung in the air. I could breathe that in too, and soon, I was laughing with them.
Their laughter turned into a mighty river with the cleanest, purest water I had ever seen. I bent down to drink from it, cupping my hands to get as much as I could. In a moment, it filled me with everything I could ever need; Sickness, poverty, and disease didn’t exist in it.
Then the Lord said, “This water is for all who thirst. Anyone who drinks from it will never thirst again. Drinking from this water brings life to all things. The space between heaven and earth is closer than you know; It’s already here. Bring all you sickness and disease to me. Bring all of your needs to me. I have already conquered them. Yes. Even death.”
John 4:
13 Jesus answered her, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again. 14 But whoever drinks the water that I give him will never be thirsty again. But the water that I give him will become in him a spring of water [satisfying his thirst for God] welling up [continually flowing, bubbling within him] to eternal life.”
