Answering God’s Call to Love the Lost

God is calling each and everyone of us to step up and step into our callings. He gave each of us special gifts to be used for his kingdom. Here lately he has been speaking to my heart about reaching the lost and broken that are all around us. He wants all of his lost children to come home. Here is a word I got from him this week on the subject. Let his heart and passion become your passion as you read his words …

The Call

You are my army of love. My army of love that will touch many, touch so many lives. Do you hear the call? Do you see the need all around you? Do you see those in the streets? Do you see those that are crying out for love?

Seeing the Wounded

You see the wounded, you see the hurting, and you see the broken. You see them every day. You may not recognize them when you see them because they are loud, they are arrogant, and they push me. And you think to yourself, these are not men and women of God. These are not people who honor God. These are not people who respect my God. And you are right. They do not respect me because they do not know me. They do not know my ways.

Do Not Overlook

Do not overlook these people. Do not pass them by in the street. Do not think to yourself they are not deserving. They are not good enough. For is anyone good to enter into the kingdom of God? No one is good enough to enter into the kingdom of God. The only way to enter the kingdom of God is through my son, Jesus, and all can pass through that door when they accept him.

Love Is Free

So don’t say to yourself, these people are not deserving of love. Because no one deserves love. Love is a free gift, a free gift that comes from heaven. So don’t pass these people by. Don’t look at them and say, they are not of God. For I want all to enter into the kingdom. I want all to come in.

Will You Be the Door?

Will you be the door? Will you be the doorway that leads them to my son so that they can come into the kingdom?
