Hi, I’m Marjorie Whitley, an Atlanta native singer-songwriter. My music weaves together the heart of Christian faith with the storytelling and poetic sensibilities of folk rock.
I have always had my hand in many things. As a creative person it was always hard for me to choose which creative endeavor I wanted to do the most. I’ve stuck my toe into acting, photography, creative writing and songwriting. All of this was before I became a Spirit-filled Christian.
The day I met the Holy Spirit, though, none of those things seemed to matter anymore. My heart was satisfied just being in His presence and receiving prophetic words for people and the church.
It was a few years later that I realized God gave me all of my creative gifts to be used for my enjoyment as well as for the kingdom. That was when He began to speak to me about making a difference in the world with what He put into my hands.
This website represents all of my passions and my desire to show the world the beauty of the kingdom of God, and to point others toward using their own God-given gifts to change their own sphere of influence. That is what we are all called to do. With the spiritual authority given back to us through Jesus, we can be an unstoppable army of love that can change the world.
Browse around the website, read the blog posts, and enjoy the music and art that all came from my quiet times with the Lord. And if you want to learn more about how you can discover your own calling, join the Weekly Word devotional email below.
