Back in August of this year – 2023 – the Lord told me to blow my shofar every day until the feast of Trumpets. I had just gotten this little shofar the last year at the tail end of the feasts. It is a hard instrument to learn to blow and make any decent sounds. I managed to get a good blast out of it after a few weeks, and then I put it down and forgot about it. Ezra and the Return of the Babylonian Exiles. On my second day of blowing the shofar, God led me to read the book of Ezra. He gave me a deeper revelation of what life he desired from his children. This book begins with the exiles coming back to Jerusalem from Babylon. Here we see Ezra gathering select leaders to go back with him to rebuild the ruins of Jerusalem. 6 this Ezra went up from Babylon.
