A Good Storm is Coming

A Good Storm Is Coming.

This word came to me as I was sitting down with my guitar to worship. It’s an interesting word because it has multiple layers that start with the Old Testament into the New perspective that Jesus gives us a out how to deal with our “enemies’. God hates what these people who oppose him are doing, and yet, he instructs us to love our enemies and not hate.

The whole thing was sung, It starts like this ..

Do you see the storms on the horizon? Do you see the storm on the horizon? Coming, coming, coming. For the storm is not for the righteous. The storm is coming. The storm is coming. The harvest is ripe for the wicked. My righteous will go forth and flourish. My righteous will go forth and conquer. For the army that is being built, for my army that knows me, for my army that hears.

For the storm that is coming is a good storm for those who know . And it is a bad storm for those who do not know me. For all will get wet in this storm. All will g et wet in this deluge. But for some it will be a deluge of beautiful pure rain that will make your crops grow, and make your seedlings grow, and cause you to flourish, like the flowers in the field on the meadow.

Yes, the rain will come and bring a torrent, a torrent, of clean water, but not those who do not know me. It will be a rain of torture and torment. It will uproot. It will destroy. It will clean out. It will clear out.

Choose this day whom you will serve. Do you want to serve me? Then make me the ruler of your heart. Weed out, weed out, everything that is choking you. I want you to weed out, weed out everything is choking you, for the soil to be tilled and made ready and healthy for the farmer to plant his seed in the rich soil. So it will be an abundant crop that will feed many, feed so many.

If you have ears to hear, then hear me. Choose this day, choose this day, choose this day, whom you may serve. Whom you will serve.

Joshuah 24:15

But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.”

This is the vision I got with the song …

I was overlooking waters, it’s like I was on the waters of the ocean and I saw mountains in front of me and to the left of my vision. And the shore was a good distance away to the right, but I could sense the shore was not too far away. I saw rain coming and just pouring and pouring and pouring on the mountain, and coming up over the mountains and across the water. And within the rain, I could see and feel the power of God’s angles moving within the rain. And an unrelenting storm, like the kind of storm you would see when you are at the beach, and you see the storm out over the waters.

But this rain was coming over in front of mountains and coming across the sea. And it was just plunging, endless rain. So the feeling is that everyone is gonna get wet, because God rains on the righteous and the unrighteous. But this is going to sort things out. For his righteous, it will be a pure, clean, and beautiful rain.

It will be like standing with your arms out to receive the oil and the presence of the Lord. But for the wicked, it will sting. It will not be pleasant. It will be like the judgment coming on them. They will not like this rain because they don’t know the Lord and it will not feel good.

And so the Lord says, choose this day whom you will serve. If you want to serve him, then choose this day.

Matthew 5:45

43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor[i] and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47 And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
