Don’t Fear The Storm. A Time of Peace IS Coming
I woke up this morning and saw a vision of this. Sheep in a meadow, and a rainbow above them.
Sometimes words come with my visions. This time it was an the image, and there was a deep feeling of peace that came with it. I also heard the words, Don’t fear the storm.
With the rainbow I sensed the promise the God made to Noah after the flood, that he would never flood the earth again. He put a rainbow in the sky as a reminder of his promise. Whenever I see a rainbow in the sky, I feel assured that God is taking care of things.
There is a lot of fear in the world today. A crazy amount of violence and lawlessness. Every day I go to God and ask him what is going on. My peace gets shaken daily. He always tells me that it’s going to be okay. I know he is watching over me and protecting me, as well as all those you love and trust him.
The sheep in the meadow represent peace. His sheep know peace. We can graze in the meadow without fear. He will ALWAYS provide and be our protector.
A Time To Build, A Time To Tear Down
Something else the Lord has been speaking to me about is that, even though things look really horrible out in the world right now, it’s going to get better. A time of peace IS coming. Though it seems strange to us, there are times and seasons when God chooses to focus on one particular thing, He is meticulous in his purpose and reasoning.
Most of us know the 60’s song by the Byrds ….. Turn, Turn, Turn .. If you haven’t heard it, go check it out. It’s a great song! Turn, Turn, Turn. The song is practically a direct quote from King Solomon in (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8). King Solomon, being the most wise in God, discerned that there are times to build, and times to tear down, among other season in life. Some of the structures and things that are in place in our world today need to be torn down. Then we can rebuild.
I hope it brings you peace and that you know you can graze in the meadow in perfect peace even in the middle of a storm. Be encouraged. The time to rebuild is coming!
