Experience God’s Love:
The Power of Quiet Time.
Matthew 11:28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
To me, the greatest thing you can do in your life with God is to spend time with Him.
This is the foundation for all of the fruit in your life. Everyone knows that reading your Bible is essential. Everyone knows that prayer is also essential. But what most people fail to recognize is that building a relationship with Him through being still and listening is just as vital.
Psalm 46:10 “Be still, and know that I am God.”
My entire prophetic ministry was built on this. I’ve logged so many hours just spending time with Him and letting Him fill me with dreams and give me direction. Yes, filling your head and your spirit with scripture is crucial. Without that, a lot of what the Lord speaks to you will not make sense.
But the two go hand in hand—the foundation of scripture, and the foundation of building a relationship with Him through sitting still, listening to Him, and letting Him heal, instruct, or simply fill you with His love.
Love is the foundation of relationship with Him. Do you already know how much He loves you? Or is your relationship with Him based only on confessing sin or doing works for Him?
If you answered yes to knowing how much He loves you, then you are ahead of the game. If your only experience of Him has been through hiding, confessing sin, and seeking what duties you need to perform, then you are missing out on the vital relationship you need in your daily life with Him.
Finding Rest
Today, I feel the Lord wants you to simply sit in His presence. He wants you to be still and let Him pour His love over you.
Maybe you are weary.
Maybe you are carrying a heavy burden He wants to lift from you.
Maybe you just need to stop the train for a moment and let Him still your heart with His peace.
The Lord delights in those moments. James 4:8 tells us, “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” He isn’t looking for perfect words or polished prayers. He is looking for your heart.

Come to Me
Come to me all weary Come to me who thirst Come to me, come to me, come receive new birth
Come to me who labor Come and get your rest Come to me, come to me, I’ve conquered death
Behold the beauty Behold the throne Feast your eyes, feast your eyes, feast your eyes
Behold the glory Behold the crown All is forgiven Even now, even now
Come to me all broken Come to me who mourn Come to me, come to me, come and grieve no more
Come to me my children Come to me my lambs Come to me, come to me, into the promised land
