This word came to me on August 24, 2025, during worship at my church. I read it aloud to my congregation, but I believe it is a word for the entire body of Christ. That’s why I’m sharing it here, along with some insights on how we can stand and fight in this season.
Here is the full word ….
My beloved. My beloved bride. Put your faith and trust in me. Because there is no other. There is no other that can restore and change your life as I can. There are counterfeits all around the earth who will distract you and pull you into the false perception that they, or it, can help you ..
BUT I .. I AM your father. I AM HE that created you and raised you from your mother’s womb.
Don’t look to the left or to the right. But keep your eyes on me. Because there is a counterfeit on the earth who will lie to you and try to pull you away from me. This is the hour that you must keep your eyes on me because the deception is growing stronger in this time.
You are aware of the deceptions but you have not experienced the deception that is coming around you. You are my children, and i want to protect you and keep you under my wing. YOU MUST look to me daily. You MUST make me a priority.
In your waking and sleeping, you must look to me. For do you know all the schemes of the enemy? For I will show you the lies and deceptions. Do not be fooled. Even the elect will one day be deceived.
You are not above those who will fall into this pit … but be wise and know we do not battle with flesh and blood .. but with principalities, powers, and rulers of the darkness, and against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. This is your anthem in this season. Keep it in your heart, because this season is drawing near.
I need a bride who is strong and pure and able to fight and defeat the enemy around that is all around. Open your eyes. As you seek me, I will open your eyes, and you will open the eyes of those around you to follow me.
Have you ever faced a conflict in your life and thought, “Why is this battle so heavy?” Scripture reminds us that the deepest struggles are not always about people or circumstances.
Ephesians 6:12 says: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
This reminds me that its not people that we are fighting against. It’s so tempting these days to get angry at people and lose our temper and get caught in the tangled web of arguing and causing strife. This word also reminds me to forgive those that I don’t agree with and to look deeper into the struggles I’m facing personally .. We do not have to put up with these problems in our lives!
When Paul wrote this passage, he was teaching believers that our greatest battles are spiritual battles, not just physical or emotional ones.
This is why the armor of God is essential. It equips us with faith, prayer, and God’s Word to stand strong. I think we can be assured that more troubles are going to come our way. We are going to see a bigger divide in the spirit between our flesh and the spiritual battles we are facing.
When life feels overwhelming, this verse reminds us that it’s not just about the situation in front of us—it’s about standing strong in Christ against the powers of darkness. God equipped us with the power to fight these unseen forces. When we spend time with him daily he can show us what is really going on around us. Check out this blog post where I share my personal experience with the demonic in my own home .. and how I won!
Sometimes, we need daily reminders of truth. That’s why I created, by inspiration of the Holy Spirit, a new faith-based T-shirt and hoodie collection inspired by this word and Ephesians 6:12.
Wearing “We Wrestle Not Against Flesh and Blood” isn’t just a statement—it’s a declaration of faith that I need to remember every day! Each design was inspired by the Holy Spirit and personally created by me to inspire you and others around you. They are cozy, meaningful, and a great reminder that it’s not people that are the problem. It’s the demonic powers that drive them.
